walking animation (walking on the spot)
This animation is slightly different as I made the balancing leg slide back to make it look like it is moving when it is not.

walking animation
Doing this walk is not easy because of the need to consider that if it is realistic or not.

BigDog walking
From my perspective, BigDog appears to lift up both his BL (back left leg) and FR (front right leg) at the same time and the other 2 legs (the BR (back right leg) and FL (front right leg)) pushes the body a little forward. After that, the BL and the FR is placed on the ground and the BR and FL is lifted up. The BL and FR pushes the body a little forward and than the BR and FL is placed on the ground. After this the cycle repeats.
How this manages to balance BigDog is by having his 2 legs that are on the ground to hold him up momentarily to move forward. After that BigDog places his other 2 legs on the ground to help him stabilize again.

spiderman doing weight shifting
What i learn from doing this is that small details is very important in making the animation appear realistic. It is also quite hard for me to pick up the details and a lot of time is needed to make sure it looks real.

Dog sit again!
I rig this dog to make it look like this. This one is easier because i did not encounter any missing rig. I also learn that less rig can make things look easier and more neater, but cannot do some movements.

Spiderman block
For this blocking pose, I made him bend lower to appear to be able to withstand the impact. I also move his hips a little close to the back leg because more weight will be put on the behind if he gets hit from the front. I also position his hands to make it look like he is going to block an attack from the front.
Spiderman punch
Spiderman punch!!! For this pose, I made him bend down to make the pose more stable. I also turn his hips to make it so that his punch has slightly longer reach. Lastly, his other hand is stretched behind to prepare for another punch!!!

Spiderman upside down
Me rigging spider man upside down. I learn that rig is time consuming and a lot of consideration is put into rigging to see of the model looks natural or distorted. I also learn that it is easy to feel that something is wrong with the model, and it takes time to spot the error.

Cow Head
For the cow head, it was quite difficult to do as some tools appear to be missing or placed somewhere else. Costing a lot of time and research to be done to find out what happen to the tool. Lucky there are more than one way to do this. Examples would be to use the edge loop tool to individually select the edges.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT (writing part)
Name: Lisa
Tagline: Don’t you say I am different.
Brief Introduction: Lisa is a girl who is entering high school. However she suffers from a rare case that causes one eye to be bigger than the other. Because of this, she tends to get avoided or bullied by just about anyone.
Story: It’s the start of high school and Lisa is hoping for a change as compared to her previous years in study. Lisa was bullied on a regular basis but managed to make some friends, Rose and Collar. Despite the first time having friends, everything else is still the same bullying and isolation. Lisa is overjoyed when she made her first and second friend. Her first friend is Rose who is a trouble maker and her second friend Collar who is very sensitive.
Motivation: Lisa is motivated by one goal and that goal is to have a huge change from her elementary school experience in this new high school that she entered. Despite being disturbed by most of the students, Lisa did not lose her will and continue to make her life in high school more different. Lisa also gets her motivation from her friends, laughing at Rose for coming up with strange ideas that lead Lisa and the other into hot water.
Appearance:
- Lisa main feature is her eyes. Having one eye bigger than the other is what led Lisa into becoming an outcast. It is also what made Lisa the person that she is every day.
- Lisa favorite color is blue as water in the ocean is blue in color and the amount of water feels like the amount of tears she cried every day. Blue also represents Lisa wanting to change and move forward like running water.
- Lisa clothes are mostly decent looking design because it reflects how normal she wants to be and not too flashy or weird like all the popular girls or the awkward people.
Behavior:
- Lisa is a very determined person in both social and academic as she wants everything to go her way in her new high school, unlike her life in elementary school.
- Lisa is also very shy because of her experience in her elementary school but also does a lot of socializing because of her determination to change.
- Lisa is always with her friends and will go with them. This is even despite knowing the fact that Rose is always finding new ways to get into trouble. Resulting in Lisa also being loyal to her friends.
Dialogue:
Rose: Collar! Lisa! I just thought of another great idea we could do today.
Collar: Are you sure this is ok?
Lisa: Remember what happen last time Rose.
Classmate: Hey look it’s the weird girls club!
Lisa: We are not different from you people.
Classmate: Yea right.
Rose: Forget about them, we got work to do.
Collar: Rose, I think this is a bad idea.
Rose: What’s so bad about releasing all the schools laboratory mice into the teachers’ lounge?
Lisa: Because there is about 1000 laboratory mice and that will cause nothing but trouble.
Rose: Exactly.
Lisa: I don’t want to get into another one of your scheme Rose.
Collar: Same here.
Rose: Don’t worry, the teachers will be too busy panicking that they don’t have time to catch us.
Collar: OK!
Lisa: how come we keep on agreeing with you Rose?
Rose: Because I’m a very persuasive little girl.
Collar: So when do we start?
Rose: Right now.
(Rose and Collar walk away)
Lisa: Here we go again.
(Lisa follows them)
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT (drawing part)
This 2 images shows the sketches of what kind of head should i draw as the final one.
This is the selected head that i have chosen. I also learn that it is not easy aligning the two heads.
My decided character expression sheet. I also learn to observe how the facial expression are drawn to reflect an emotion.
This is to generate an idea of what kind of clothing the character would be usually wearing.
This is the final product with the character head attached to the body. Also had a hard time aligning the two images together.
